Uniscreen is an Indian Multinational Medical Devices and Healthcare company with headquarters in IIT Madras Research Park, India. Our products are specifically focused on a Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology, which are available at an optimal cost.
Our diabetic patch comprises a two-part structure, which comprises a replaceable/removable needle unit and an integrated reader/display unit.

02 Primary Feature: Modular Sensing Technology
Our CGM diabetic patch has a two-part structure that comprises a replaceable/removable needle unit and an integrated reader unit/display unit. Each replaceable needle unit can be used for 14 days. Based on completion of 14 days, the user may just replace the used needle unit with a fresh needle unit at an optimal cost, instead of disposing the complete patch.

03 Secondary Feature: Integrated Display
The integrated reader/display unit is formed from our patented Electro-Thermo-Chromic Ink-based display technology, which is manufactured as a single screen. Such display shall be activated just by micro-Volts compared to high voltage requirement in LED displays. Hence, it may be easier to integrate such low-powered electro-thermo-chromic display technology in the diabetic patch.

04 Tertiary Feature: Simplified User Interface
The integrated reader/display unit has a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is a digital display section that outputs a relative glucose count; and the second portion is a display strip section that changes its color based on the level of the glucose content. Hence, such visual insights may be very helpful for reading-challenged patients.

What is the lifetime of GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patch?
The GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patch comes with a lifetime warranty. Based on a continued usage of the diabetic patch for a period of 14 days, the integrated control unit shall be retained and only needle unit needs to be replaced at an optimal cost.

What is the cost of the GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patch and the cost of the replaceable needle unit?
The GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patch shall be available for sale in India at Rs. 8000. Based on usage of the diabetic patch for a period of 14 days, the integrated control unit shall be retained and only needle unit shall be replaced at a cost of Rs. 1000 for another 14 days.

The GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patches are always processed with multi-level quality checks. Hence, there may be minimal to no chance of technical issues. However, you may please call us at +91-94560-94561 in case of any issues that you may have, from 9 AM to 9 PM IST on business days.

Will it bleed or be painful, during attachment and removal of GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patches?
No. As we use the nanotechnology-based needle unit, it shall look and feel like a transdermal patch. Hence, the patient does not feel any noticeable pain during attachment and removal of the GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patches

Can I shower or swim, while wearing of GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patches
Yes. The GlucoDetect™ Diabetic Patches will be resistant to water up to 30 minutes and in depths up to 1 meter (3 feet). Hence, you may shower, swim, and surf while wearing your sensor.
